• You have to pick a good power supply, otherwise if you add lights the lights will flicker to the rhythm, which is a sign that the power supply is underpowered.
• The electromagnet may cause heat when working for a long time, if it gets hot you can consider lowering the voltage input. Take 12V solenoid as an example, you can step down the voltage to 9V and it won't get hot.

• The pairing of a ferrofluid with an electromagnet does not absolutely depend on the magnetic force of the electromagnet.
• Another important factor is the size of the magnetic surface of the electromagnet.
• The larger the magnetic surface, the shorter the travel between the electromagnet and the ferrofluid, and the easier it is for the ferrofluid to be sucked up.
• Therefore, when you purchase a ferrofluid that is not the size we recommend, please consider the distance between the electromagnet and the ferrofluid.

• Electromagnets produced by different manufacturers in the quality standard difference is not large, they may be slightly different in the labeling of the magnetic force, such as P34/18 will be labeled as 20kg/18kg/15kg, this situation can be ignored only need to look at the model.
